THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WALB) — Two men, one of whom was wanted in Tallahassee, were arrested in Thomasville Tuesday, Jan. 27. The men were both charged with drug trafficking after a brief chase that ended when they were boxed in at a red light, the Thomas County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) said.
Thomas County deputies reportedly helped U.S. Marshals arrest Tavoris Morris and Davonte Clark Tuesday.
Marshals tried to stop the suspects’ car, but they fled into Thomasville, TCSO said. The two men were caught after officials say they were boxed in at a red light.

Authorities said they saw a black backpack thrown from the car during the chase. Inside the backpack, deputies found 8 ounces of cocaine, 16 ounces of Alpha-PVP (mollie), digital scales, packaging materials and $2,642 in cash.
Both men are charged with drug trafficking in cocaine and fleeing or attempting to elude.
