LOWNDES COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) – A Valdosta man has been arrested and charged with possession of child sexual abuse material.
According to the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office, on March 4, investigators were alerted to an individual in possession of child sexual abuse material.
Sixty-year-old Theodore “Terry” Richards, a reporter for The Valdosta Daily Times, was arrested on March 13.
The Valdosta Daily Times has suspended Richards pending the adjudication of the charges against him.
