VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) — Officials arrested a man for arson after a fire on Dec. 17, left a 75-year-old man hospitalized.
The Valdosta Police Department said Michael Fuller intentionally set the home on fire with the man inside.
Police have not yet given a motive but said Fuller also lived in that home. On Friday, Dec. 19, Fuller was arrested and charged with first-degree arson and aggravated battery.
The fire happened on Dec. 17 at around 7 p.m. on Melrose Drive. The man who was in the house at the time of the fire is still at a Florida hospital and is stable, according to the Valdosta Fire Department.
