VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) - Another South Georgia senior signed his letter of intent to continue his athletic career at the college level.
Chase Helfer signed to continue his basketball career at Valdosta State University. His father, Mike Helfer, has been the Blazers head coach for 21 years.
Helfer’s senior season
At Valwood, Helfer helped his team to a 20-8 record and a state semifinal appearance. In his final season with the Valiants, he averaged 17 points and 12 rebounds per game.
