CUTHBERT, Ga. (WALB) - Residents with past-due water accounts are being urged to make payments before service cutoffs begin later this month.

According to a community notice from the city of Cuthbert, water service cutoffs will start Wednesday, May 20, 2026, for customers with unpaid balances.

Officials say water service will remain disconnected until all past-due balances are paid in full.

The notice encourages customers to pay their balances now to avoid disruptions in service.
