(Gray News) - Walmart is recalling nearly 4.5 million grill brushes because small metal wire bristles can detach, stick to grills or food, and cause severe internal injuries requiring surgery if swallowed.

The recall covers approximately 4,477,655 Expert Grill metal wire bristle brushes sold individually and as part of grilling tool sets, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The brushes feature black plastic or stainless steel handles, and several models include an attached metal scraper.

Products were sold at Walmart stores nationwide and online at Walmart.com from January 2021 through August 2026 for between $1 and $28.

No injuries or incidents have been reported, according to the CPSC notice.
