Description
Dress in layers. You’ll need a coat this morning. A freezing cold start in the upper 20s and low 30s warms to the upper 40s by midday and mid 50s in the afternoon. Sunshine dominates the day.
New Year’s revelers will need to bundle up with temps back in the 30s overnight. A frosty start to 2026 brings a warmup. Clouds invade Friday and rain and thunder comes Saturday as low pressure tracks right over Georgia. Rain totals of 1/2″ to 1″ totals are expected.
Drier and cooler weather returns Sunday. Warmer weather will take over next week. High temperatures will reach the lower 70s with generally dry conditions.
