ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Abundant sunshine and pleasant mid-upper 60s low 70s provided a near perfect Valentine’s Day. Look for changes over the weekend. Saturday cloudy then rain and possibly strong-severe storms early Sunday. A squall arrives 5-6am into #SGA spreading east through the morning. By midday storms push away while rain linger into early afternoon. Brisk NW winds with gusts to 30mph usher in drier and much cooler air. Sunshine returns and temperatures drop from the 70s through the 50s.
Colder early week as winter’s chill returns. Mornings cold and frosty as lows drop into the low-mid 30s with highs mid 50s Monday then low 60s on Tuesday.
Rain is back on Wednesday. Drier and cool Thursday lows upper 30s highs low 50s then much colder lows mid 20s with highs in the 40s on Friday.
