ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — TODAY: A muggier start warms to near 90 degrees this afternoon. Numerous afternoon showers and thunderstorms will produce locally heavy downpours.
TOMORROW: Earlier onset of showers and storms may keep us in the 80s for the first time since early August. Heavy downpours will be the main emphasis again.
WEEKEND: Saturday soaking afternoon showers and storms will again be possible. Scattered showers and storms keep temperatures seasonable on Sunday.
EARLY WEEK: Afternoon heat will build as rain chances ease.
MID WEEK: Heat wave may return for the start of September. Highs in the mid to upper 90s and heat indices 105+.
