REMERTON, Ga. (WALB) - A 17-year-old is wanted in connection to a deadly 2024 shooting in Remerton.

According to Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr, 17-year-old Jailen Bryant is wanted for a shootout on Baytree Place.

In a Facebook post, Attorney General Carr said that Bryant and nine others are facing murder, assault, gang charges, and various weapons offences following an indictment obtained by the Gang Prosecution Unit in partnership with the Lowndes County District Attorney, Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and Remerton Police.

According to Attorney General Carr, the other nine suspects have been taken into custody.
