MITCHELL COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — Mitchell County Head Coach Kaream Hess has been named WALB’s Coach of the Week following a dominant homecoming performance by the Eagles.

Mitchell County delivered its biggest win of the season, shutting out Atkinson County 68-0.

The Eagles came out firing, putting up 46 points in the opening quarter and never letting up. The dominant performance helped Mitchell County improve to 5-1 on the season.

Now, Coach Hess and the Eagles are celebrating another big win — and a Coach of the Week honor to match it.
