PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A 14-year-old student at Kenmoor Middle School could be facing charges after bringing a loaded gun on school grounds Thursday, according to the Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD).

Officers were alerted around 1:40 p.m. when school security personnel found the gun in the school's parking lot.
Early investigation revealed an 8th-grade student had the weapon and fled from school security personnel, PGPD said.

Charges are now pending for the student.
