ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The Albany Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Bureau is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Demetrius Temane Brown, 45, who is wanted in connection with an aggravated assault investigation.

According to police, the incident occurred at 2224 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, at Hank Vinson Meathouse. Investigators say Brown is currently being sought in relation to that incident.

Brown’s last known address is in the 400 block of Medlock Avenue in Albany. He is described as standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 182 pounds.

Authorities warn that Brown should be considered armed and dangerous. Police urge the public not to approach him.

Anyone with information about Brown’s whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 229-436-TIPS (8477) or the Albany Police Department at 229-431-2100. Tips can be provided anonymously.
