ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — Albany State University’s Homecoming game against Lane College on Saturday, Oct. 10, drew a strong crowd.

Heavy rain and wind from the remnants of Hurricane Isaias moved through the area late Friday and into Saturday, but the weather did not affect the game. Students, alumni and community members showed up to support the Albany State Rams.

The university, law enforcement and local officials took steps to help keep people safe at the game and other Homecoming events.
