BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WALB) - A local business in Decatur County is helping those in need this winter season.
Skatetowne in Bainbridge will serve as a warming shelter for people in need of power or shelter.
The Salvation Army has provided blankets for those who come in needing assistance, according to Skatetowne. The warming shelter will open Sunday, Jan. 18 from 7 p.m. until 8 a.m. Monday morning.
Skatetowne officials said volunteers are needed and donations of hot food, coffee or drinks are welcome. Those interested can contact Skatetowne directly for more information.
