BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WALB) - On Saturday, Sept. 27, Bainbridge High School Football announced a change in leadership.

In a statement, it was announced that Coach Jay Walls will no longer be the head coach of the football team, effective immediately.

"Decatur County Schools would like to thank Coach Jay Walls for his hard work and effort as head coach of Bainbridge High School Football.

After much consideration, we have decided to make a change in leadership of the football program. We wish Coach Walls well in his future endeavors.

Effective immediately, Coach Mike Harville will serve as Acting Head Coach for the remainder of the 2025 football season. We look forward to Coach Harville’s leadership and the future direction of Bearcat Football."
