ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - An investigation is underway after a woman was shot in Albany on Friday night.

The shooting happened in the 700 block of Cedar Avenue in Albany at around 8:30 p.m., according to Albany Police (APD).

Police say a 33-year-old woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

This incident is actively being investigated.
