ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The city of Albany is activating its Operation Safe Place ahead of cold temperatures.
The Albany Transit Center at 300 West Oglethorpe Boulevard will be open Thursday, Feb. 12, and Friday, Feb. 13, from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m.
The city said they will continue to monitor the weather to see if the warming center will need to be extended for additional days.
