COOK COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - The Cook County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect following a home break-in.
On September 4th, at around 11:45 a.m., the sheriff’s office received a call to Futch Road where an unknown person had reportedly entered that residence through the back door while the occupant was home.
The complainant stated that once confronted, the subject ran from the home into the wood line behind the home.
Responding deputies set up a perimeter in the area and started searching for the suspect using K-9 tracking dogs.
The suspect is described as a bald male, wearing a black shirt, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing between 240 to 250 pounds.
The Cook County Sheriff’s Office is asking citizens in the area to be vigilant and lock their doors and vehicles. They are also asking the public to call 911 immediately if they see someone matching this description.
