CRISP COUNTY Ga. (WALB) - Students from Crisp County Elementary recently visited South Georgia Technical College for hands-on training in STEM and technical fields.
Fifth graders practiced life-saving CPR, built electrical circuits, and learned the science of baking from professional instructors during the visit.
Officials said the goal is to spark an early interest in STEM and technical careers within the local community.
South Georgia Technical College offers more than 200 programs.
