DODGE COUNTY, Ga. (WGXA) — A 17-year-old from high school died on Monday, according to Dodge County CoronerJoe Smith.
Smith told WGXA that his great-nephew, Hadden Kelly, was doing homecoming activities at a residence with a friend when he suddenly collapsed in the yard.
He was unresponsive and later pronounced deceased at the scene. Smith says it is unclear how Kelly died, and his body was sent for an autopsy to determine what led to his death.

Smith described his great-nephew as a charismatic person who always put others above himself.
"Hadden was an outgoing kid, and he never met a stranger," said Smith.
He also said that Kelly had a true passion for golfing and worked at the Dodge County golf club.
"He played every day, and I believe if that were something he wanted to do, he would have gone pro because he was that good," said Smith.
Dodge County High School released a statement on Facebook, stating how the school is mourning the loss of the 17-year-old junior.
"There are no words to express the sadness that our DCHS family feels for the loss of junior Hadden Kelly. Please join us in prayer for his family, friends, and our DCHS Family. 'Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.'"
