AMERICUS, Ga. (WALB) - Two people were taken to the hospital after a school minibus ran into a home on Tom Hall Circle in Americus on Friday, Dec. 5.

Americus police confirmed to WALB that the bus driver was trying to park at her home, located on Tom Hall Circle, when she lost control and ran into the house across the street from her home. The incident happened about 5:50 p.m., police said.

No children were inside the bus at the time of the incident, police said.

The homeowner and the bus driver both complained of injuries and were taken to the hospital.

Americus police told WALB it was too early to file charges. Police are investigating this incident.
