LOWNDES COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — Kalasha Johnson was booked on June 3 for “probation violation (when probation terms are altered) for fingerprintable charge,” according to Lowndes County Jail records.

Johnson was arrested after multiple videos, which Johnson allegedly shared in a group chat of her thumping children at Joyful Noise Academy in Nashville, were then posted to social media and screen-recorded by parents.

Nashville Police Department arrested her on Friday, May 8. She was charged with four counts of Cruelty to Children in the First Degree.
The police department said there are four separate reports involving four victims, one three-year-old and three two-year-olds.
Justin Godwin, Detective Sergeant, said, “At this time, no further information can be given due to the case being in open status.”

- DUI - Driving under the influence of alcohol
- Expired or no license plate or decal
- Reckless driving
- Failure to signal lane change or turn
