Description

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — Gas prices across south Georgia have been climbing since the war in Iran began, with prices varying by location and continuing to rise throughout the day.

WALB reporters and producers checked prices at stations across the region on Wednesday, March 11, and Thursday, March 12. In Grady County, gas at a Marathon station was $3.49. In Sylvester, the Circle K was selling gas at $3.61. In Lee County, a WaWa location was at $3.29 — up 10 cents from $3.19 earlier the same morning.

Gas prices are expected to keep rising as the war continues.
