ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) -There are a few local elections happening around South Georgia in addition to the state race for Public Service Commission.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17.

• Special Democratic Primary for Georgia Public Service Commission District 3

  • Henry Hogan III
• Cairo Mayor
  • Shenkia JOhnson
  • Edgar Robinson
  • Silvia Salgado
• Albany City Commissioner Ward 2
  • Muarlean Edwards
  • Henry Mathis
  • Willie Weaver

There is no exact timeline for when we will know full election results, however, WALB will be updating with results from local and state races as soon as they are available.

If you are planning to head to the polls, make sure your voter registration is active on the Secretary of State’s My Voter Page, and don’t forget to bring your valid photo ID.
