CORDELE, Ga. (WALB) - According to the Cordele Police Department’s Facebook page, early this morning on Dec 20, before 2 a.m., there was a report of a shooting in the 500 block of West 15th Avenue, which Cordele PD responded to.

Officials say two adult males with gunshot wounds were transported to Crisp Regional Hospital, where law enforcement made contact with them. A third male adult was found at the scene where officers administered lifesaving measures; however, that male was later pronounced deceased.

The investigation remains active and ongoing as the Criminal Investigation Division of the Cordele PD continues to work closely with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
