Description
ATMORE, Ala. (WTVM) - The man convicted of kidnapping, raping and murdering 5-year-old Kamarie Holland in Phenix City is scheduled to be executed Thursday evening in south Alabama.
Jeremy Williams, 42, is set to be executed Aug. 13 at approximately 6 p.m. CT at William C. Holman Correctional Facility in Atmore.
Williams was convicted in the December 2021 death of Kamarie Holland, whose disappearance sparked a large-scale search across the Chattahoochee Valley.
According to court testimony, Kamarie was reported missing from her mother’s home on Dec. 13, 2021. Investigators reviewing phone records determined Williams and Kamarie’s mother, Kristy Siple, had been in contact the night before.
Prosecutors said Siple sold Kamarie to Williams for $2,500 in exchange for one hour of oral sex.
Investigators later tracked Williams’ cellphone to the Bamboo Motel on Opelika Road in Phenix City, where deputies found him with his uncle. Williams was taken into custody by the Russell County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities obtained Williams’ cellphone and discovered videos recorded on Dec. 13 from an address on 15th Avenue in Phenix City.
The investigation led authorities to an abandoned home connected to Williams, where they found Kamarie’s body in a storage room behind the residence.
In March 2024, Williams pleaded guilty to:
- Four counts of capital murder, including the murder of a child under 14
- Obstruction of a corpse
- Rape
- Sodomy
- Knowingly recording the crimes
Although Williams pleaded guilty, Alabama law required a jury trial before a death sentence could be imposed.
After hearing testimony and reviewing evidence over three days, a jury found Williams guilty on all capital murder charges. A judge later sentenced him to death.
Prior allegations revealed at trial
During court proceedings, jurors also heard evidence that Williams had:
- Killed his 1-month-old daughter in Alaska
- Sexually assaulted his 5-year-old stepdaughter
- Sexually assaulted other children in the Chattahoochee Valley
Williams later waived portions of the appeals process and requested that his execution move forward. After appellate review was completed, Gov. Kay Ivey set his execution date for Aug. 13, 2026.
