ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents to lock their vehicles after multiple car break-ins and a theft in the Twisted Pines neighborhood over the weekend.
Three suspects were captured on video parking a dark-colored Honda sedan in a cul-de-sac on Edge Lake Drive Saturday night into Sunday morning, according to the sheriff’s office. The suspects moved through the neighborhood checking door handles and entering unlocked vehicles.
The incidents resulted in two entering-auto cases and the theft of a gray 2015 Kia Optima, officials said.
The sheriff’s office is reminding residents to lock vehicle doors and remove valuables from inside their cars.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Lee County Sheriff’s Office at 229-759-6012.
