WORTH COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - Worth County Board of Elections (BOE) officials said that voting will reopen for one of the county’s precincts. This comes after less than 1% of registered Democrat voters came out to vote in the Public Service Commission (PSC) election on June 17.
Election Day for the PSC District 3 Democratic runoff will be July 15, and voting will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Early voting will be July 7 through 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the BOE.
The precinct will only have one polling place open for this runoff – the Worth County Courthouse, located at 201 North Main Street in Sylvester. Voting will be in Room 10 of the courthouse, the BOE said.
