TUESDAY PM: Pop up showers are starting to dissolve but chances for another brief shower this afternoon cannot be ruled out. Although gloomy, cloudy skies will keep most of us cooler in the low to mid 80s. Those who may see a clearing with some sunshine can see temperatures in the upper 80s.

WEDNESDAY: Overnight clearing will bring more sunshine for your hump day. Temperatures will stay near average with morning lows in the mid 70s and afternoon highs near the low 90s.

LATE WEEK: More sunshine on the way for Thursday and Friday. Afternoon highs will increase into the low to mid 90s. This combined with high humidity allows heat index values to approach the triple digits.

THIS WEEKEND: High heat and humidity will persist into the weekend but rain chances will increase. Heat index values trend to stick in the triple digits. Saturday looks to be the hottest and muggiest day, however, those who will see showers or storms will get a slight cool down. Sunday, we can see rain chances elevate a tad, keeping afternoon highs near the low 90s. It will be important to stay hydrated going into this weekend and keep rain gear ready if you plan to be outdoors.

EARLY NEXT WEEK: A slightly wetter but cooler start is anticipated. Typical summer-like showers and storms are possible.
