CAMILLA, Ga. (WALB) - A pedestrian was injured in a crash on Saturday, Aug. 30.

At around 9:37 p.m., Georgia State Patrol (GSP) troopers responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash on SR 3 at Moultrie Road in Mitchell County.

GSP said the investigation found that a vehicle was headed south on the highway when a pedestrian entered the roadway.

The vehicle’s front bumper hit the pedestrian. The pedestrian sustained critical injuries and was taken to Phoebe Main for further treatment.

GSP said the pedestrian entered the roadway at a non-crosswalk zone.
