ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Phoebe Putney Health System is inviting the public to help celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

On Jan. 19, the health system will host an event to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at 10 a.m. The event will be held at Phoebe HealthWorks, located at 311 West Third Avenue in Albany.

According to Phoebe Putney Health System, the event will feature an inspiring message from guest speaker Rev. Joseph Howard of Turning Point Church. The Saints of God House of Worship Choir will perform.

The health system says those who cannot attend in person can watch the celebration live on the Phoebe Putney Health System Facebook page.
