ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - A man was injured in an early morning shooting on Sept. 15 in Albany, according to the Albany Police Department (APD).
The victim is 24 years old, and officials said he is in stable condition.
The 24-year-old was found in the roadway on the 1000 block of Whitney Avenue at about 4 a.m. with a gunshot wound, police said. APD said that several shell casings were found on the scene.
APD said that investigators are trying to determine further details about this incident. They encourage anyone with information about this case to contact APD at 229-431-2100 or 229-436-TIPS.
