ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The city of Albany is warning drivers about an upcoming road closure.

Portions of Pine Avenue will be closed starting Thursday, May 22, for construction on the Combined Sewer Separation Project.

The closed portions include:

• 200 block of Pine Avenue closed
• 100 block of Pine Avenue closed
• Washington Street closed at the Broad Avenue through the Pine Avenue intersection

Drivers should plan to take alternate routes or plan for delays. Detour signs will be posted in the area to help guide drivers.

Work is expected to last about three weeks.
