Description
TODAY: Temperatures steadily warm to the upper 70s and low 80s this afternoon as cloud cover decreases.
TOMORROW: A cooler start Tuesday in the 50s and a warmer and more humid afternoon with highs peaking into the mid-upper 80s. A stray 10% shower may work in Tuesday morning but the afternoon looks generally dry and decently sunny. Better chances for some rainfall come late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
MID WEEK: Another warm afternoon is ahead for Wednesday, but chances for showers and storms build Wednesday night and linger through Thursday. Some of those storms could be strong, with gusty winds, dangerous lightning and heavy downpours. Increased rain chances will drop temperatures into the 70s likely Thursday afternoon.
FRIDAY: Increased cloud cover with the chance for a shower or two through the day keeps temperatures unseasonably cool in the 70s.
SATURDAY: Low pressure will track across South Georgia and that is expected to bring a widespread 1 to 2 inches of rainfall. Some heavier totals are possible with thunderstorms along the Florida State Line.
SUNDAY: Depending on the low pressure path, clouds could linger and carry a slight chance for showers. Clouds will likely start clearing some on Sunday with cooler temperatures to begin next week. More certainty on the forecast for Sunday will come as we go through the work week.
