Description
GRADY COUNTY (WALB) -A Red Flag Warning is in effect Saturday, March 28, across parts of South Georgia, Southeast Alabama, and the Florida Panhandle, according to Grady County Fire and Rescue.
The National Weather Service says a combination of gusty winds and low humidity is creating dangerous fire conditions from late morning through the evening.

Officials warn that these conditions make it easier for fires to start and spread quickly.
This warning is an upgrade from a Fire Weather Watch, meaning the threat is now immediate.
Residents are urged to avoid outdoor burning and use extreme caution with anything that could spark a fire.
