LEESBURG, Ga. (WALB) - The Lee County community and many around South Georgia are mourning the death of Dr. Taylar Williams, assistant principal at Lee County Primary School, who passed away Saturday, Feb. 28, at 32, according to Meadows Funeral Home.
Since news of her passing, family, friends, colleagues, and students have expressed an outpouring of love and support on social media.
Dr. Williams dedicated 11 years to the field of education, according to the Lee County Schools website.
“Education is my passion, and I’m committed to fostering a positive and inclusive environment where every child can thrive,” Williams wrote on the school’s website.
In a message to the Lee County Primary School Community, Dr. William described her family as her greatest joy.
“Most importantly, I’m a proud wife to George Williams and the mother of four amazing children, two girls and two boys, who keep life fun, busy, and full of purpose,” she wrote.
She is survived by her husband, George Williams, and their four children.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
