LEE COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — A traffic accident involving a train and a vehicle occurred on US-19 Tuesday, March 31, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO).

The sheriff’s office said that the accident was just north of Pinewood Road. One person was injured, LCSO said.

Officials cleared the intersection at about 3 p.m. Tuesday.

No further details were released by law enforcement officials.
