GEORGIA (WALB) - Two Democratic candidates are competing for the chance to run against Republican Incumbent Noel Warren Williams Jr. for Georgia House District 148. William’s current term ends on January 11, 2027. Cynthia Johnson and Lillie Bryant are the two Democrats looking to clinch their party’s nomination on May 19, 2026. The winner will face Williams in November.
Throughout his career, Williams worked served alongside:
- Life of the South Insurance Agency
- Partners Benefit Group
- Colony Bank Insurance Board
- Crisp Regional Foundation (Chairman)
- Cordele Crisp Chamber of Commerce in 2008 (Chairman and director)
- River Valley Regional Commission from 2010 to 2016 (Council member)
