ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - United Way of Southwest Georgia launched Fuel The Future, a vehicle fundraiser that gives supporters a chance to win a vehicle while supporting programs across the region.

Community members can purchase tickets through June 26, 2026. The winner will be announced July 3, 2026. Taxes, fees and registration costs are covered.

Ticket sales fund programs that provide food assistance, youth development, education support, health resources and financial stability services across the 13 counties served by United Way of Southwest Georgia.

“As a community distribution hub, United Way brings resources in and directs them where they are needed most,” a United Way representative said. “When you buy a ticket, you are not just entering to win a vehicle—you are helping fuel opportunity, hope, and lasting impact for families across Southwest Georgia.”
