ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The city of Albany will be holding a townhall meeting regarding the AMI utility meters.
The event will be hosted by ward 3 commissioner Vilnis Gaines and it will take place this Thursday at 6 p.m.
The address is 1023 S. McKinley St.
Speakers at the meeting include the city’s utility operations director and the administrative services director.
WALB has previously reported on Albany residents receiving utility bills that are double or triple the amount from the month before.
We have reached out to Albany utilities for a comment on these increase but we’ve not received a response.
