VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) — Six Valdosta community leaders are partnering to make this summer unforgettable for local kids.
The goal is to sponsor 100 summer passes for children to swim. All children must sign a waiver before swimming.
“Every $10 donation gives a child access to the pool for the entire summer,” Organizers said. “Together, we can create a season with fun, friendship, health, and last memories.”
There are two ways to donate and make an impact:
- Donate Cash App to $TyD1584
- Pull up in person on Saturday, June 13, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. to give money for a child.

“Help a Child Make a Splash this Summer” will be Saturday, June 13, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Mildred Hunter Center, 509 South Fry Street.
