VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) - The Valdosta Fire Department is advising drivers to avoid an area due to a structure fire.

The fire department is working a fire that occurred Saturday, April 18, in the 700 block of South Troup Street, according to the fire department.

The fire department is asking drivers to avoid traveling in the area.

Multiple agencies are assisting, including the Valdosta Police Department and SGMC Health EMS.
