THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WALB) - Drivers in Thomasville should expect traffic delays as city crews begin water service repairs on East Jackson Street.
According to the City of Thomasville, water crews are scheduled to start repairs at 1630 East Jackson Street on June 9, 2026, beginning at 8 a.m. The project is expected to take approximately two days to complete.
A temporary lane closure will be in place on East Jackson Street near the work site while crews perform the repairs. City officials say detour and caution signs will be posted to help direct traffic through the area.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, use alternate routes if possible, and be prepared for potential delays during the repair work.
