TODAY: Highs will arrive in the mid 80s this afternoon. Mostly sunny with some fair-weather clouds developing this afternoon.
WEDNESDAY: A milder start tomorrow around 60° with some patchy fog turns hot & humid, highs will be near 90°.
THURSDAY: A cold front approaches early bringing thunderstorms north to south into the afternoon. There’s a level 1 Marginal Risk for severe weather. The main impacts are damaging wind gusts & large hail from 7am to 3pm. Rounds of heavy thunderstorms and showers could cause flash flooding for some throughout the morning and early afternoon.
FRIDAY: Lingering showers will be possible through the day as the front stalls just to our south. Cloudy and cooler.
WEEKEND: Showers continue Saturday, and we start a warming trend as a warm front lifts north. Another good chance of thunderstorms comes Sunday. Overall the weekend looks wet, but there will be some dry patches mixed in with the rain. Not a complete washout, but close to it.
EARLY WEEK: Shower and thunderstorm chances will last Monday. From Thursday through Monday, 1-3″+ of rainfall is expected across SGA. Rain chances settle by next Tuesday, with drier and cooler temperatures taking over.
