DONALSONVILLE, Ga. (WALB) - Georgia Old School Championship Wrestling is stepping into the ring to combat hunger in the Seminole County community.
The nonprofit organization, which aims at helping children in need, is hosting a special event called “Operation Hunger”.
Every dollar raised from the wrestling match will go directly to local churches’ food drives, helping families put food on the table during difficult times.
Board member Jeffrey Monn said the organization is making a real difference for many in the community.
The wrestling match will be Saturday, Feb. 7, at 800 Moore Street in Donalsonville.
Bell time is at 7 p.m. and doors will open at 6 p.m. General admission is $12, and attendees are asked to bring canned goods for the cause.
