ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A car crashed near Lenox Square Mall on Saturday morning, resulting in a man’s death, Atlanta police say.

Officers were called to the intersection of Lenox Road NE and GA 400 at around 2:25 a.m. Atlanta News First crews at the scene saw a pickup truck with its airbags deployed.

Police believe the driver was traveling south on GA 400 and didn’t take the exit properly. The car drove through the median, crossed over Lenox Road, and went through a second median before hitting a concrete barrier.

The victim, who has not been identified, was declared dead at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
