Description
ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Multiple arrests were made after investigators executed a search warrant at an Albany residence and recovered marijuana, firearms and ammunition, according to authorities.
The Albany-Dougherty Special Investigative Unit said investigators carried out the search warrant on May 12 at a home located in the 300 block of Barton Avenue.

During the search, investigators reportedly recovered approximately 280.2 grams of marijuana, $1,202 in cash, three long rifles, one handgun, three digital scales, a box of sandwich bags, and numerous magazines, drum magazines and ammunition.
Authorities arrested 34-year-old Kertrez Frazier, who is charged with:
- Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Drug-Related Objects
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime (4 counts)
- Hindering Apprehension of a Fugitive
- Obstruction of Law Enforcement (misdemeanor)
Investigators also arrested 22-year-old Christopher Williams, who is charged with:
- Hindering Apprehension of a Fugitive
- Obstruction of Law Enforcement (misdemeanor)
Officials say ATF traces and ballistic testing will be conducted on the firearms to determine whether they may have been involved in any violent crimes.
The investigation remains ongoing.
