Description
ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The Albany Police Department (APD) has arrested Braylen Robinson following an investigation into a deadly shooting earlier this week.
According to officials, Robinson was identified as a person of interest in a shooting that occurred on Tuesday, April 28, in the 1000 block of South Cleveland Street. The incident left multiple people injured and resulted in the death of 31-year-old Kiambria Young, APD said.

Police say Robinson was also linked to a second shooting on Wednesday, April 29, in South Albany. In that case, a male victim was shot while traveling in a vehicle with a female driver and an infant child.
During the investigation, officers attempted to make contact with Robinson, which led to a pursuit after he fled from law enforcement.
Robinson was taken into custody and transported to the Dougherty County Jail. He is facing multiple charges, including:
- Three counts of aggravated assault on law enforcement officers
- Reckless driving
- Felony fleeing and attempting to elude
Authorities say the homicide investigation remains ongoing.
