GRADY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - Deputies in Grady County handled three separate cases Wednesday, each ending in arrests connected to drugs and firearms.

According to the Grady County Sheriff’s Office, the first arrest stemmed from a traffic stop triggered by a Flock camera alert. Deputies stopped a vehicle due to a suspended registration and discovered an AR-15 along with a controlled substance. The driver, 20-year-old Brandon Bryant of Cairo, faces multiple charges, including possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and several traffic violations.

In a separate incident, deputies responded to a crash on Highway 111 North. Investigators say the at-fault driver, 59-year-old Teresa Bridgers of Boston, Georgia, was operating a vehicle without insurance. During an inventory search of the impounded vehicle, deputies located methamphetamine. Bridgers now faces drug charges in addition to multiple traffic-related offenses.

A third arrest also took place along Highway 111 North during a traffic stop. Deputies conducted a probable cause search and discovered a stolen firearm along with narcotics inside the vehicle. The driver, 40-year-old Jeffery Mosley, has been charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property.

Officials say these arrests are part of continued efforts by deputies to proactively patrol and remove illegal drugs and weapons from the streets. The investigations remain ongoing.
